Kiwi Mouth Hut in Kaweka Forest Park is a comfortable base for many hunting opportunities. At 620 metres altitude, the hut is close to Kiwi Creek and very close to the Ngaruroro River.
Studholme Saddle Hut is located on the western side of the main Kaweka Range on 1320 metres altitude at the head of a tributary of Kiwi Creek .

Omarukokere Bivouac is located opposite the confluence of the Ngaruroro River and the Omarukokere Stream. Hunters visiting this area will generally be limited to bush hunting in the vicinity of the bivouac.
The hut is a good base and stop-over for hunting and tramping opportunities. Hunters visiting the Otutu area can enjoy open top or bush/creek clearing hunting.

Te Puia Lodge is located in the north eastern Kaweka Forest Park on the bank of the Mohaka River. Hunters should be extremely cautious when discharging a firearm in this popular public area.
Tussock Hut is located at the upper (northern) end of the Harkness Valley, on a tributary of Ngaawapurua (Harkness) Stream.
Tira Lodge is located in the central Kawekas in the area locally known as Venison Tops. The alpine tops adjacent to the hut provide access to a number of open grassed creek heads and small clearings.
Te Puke (Te Pukeohikarua) Hut is located in the upper central region of the Kaweka Forest Park at the southern end of the Te Pukeohikarua Tops. The climate here is subject to extreme variations.
Located in the north-east part of Kaweka Forest Park, Makino Hut is ideally positioned for day and weekend hunting and tramping trips.
Mangatainoka Hut is situated close to the northern Kaweka Forest Park boundary. Located at 720 metres altitude, this hut is a good base for hunting trips.
Makahu Saddle Hut is located in the eastern side of the Kaweka Forest Park. The hut is situated within a red and mountain beech mixed forest below steep eroded scree slopes of the main Kaweka Range.

Mackintosh Hut is located on a wide plateau at the edge of a beech forest in Kaweka Forest Park. The hut is a good base for hunting and tramping opportunities.
This hut is situated at 800 metres altitude on a terrace above the Ngaawapurua Stream in a sunny, flat, sheltered position. Hunters visiting the Ngaawapurua will generally be limited to bush hunting.
Located in the north eastern Kaweka Forest Park, Middle Hill Hut is situated in a flat, sheltered site at 980m.
Manson Bivouac is located in western Kaweka Forest Park in the area known as the “Manson Country”.
Located in the central Kaweka Forest Park, Mangaturutu Hut is situated on a high altitude ridge connecting the Ngaruroro and Mohaka catchments.
Manson Hut is located in the lower central section of the area known as the “Manson Country at 1280 atltitude. You can access it by helicopter.
Located in the eastern Kaweka Forest Park, the Kaweka Flats Bivouac site has adequate camping space surrounding it.
Harkness Hut is a short distance up a side tributary of the Ngaawapurua (Harkness) Stream. Hunters visiting the area can choose between bush or open top hunting.
Back Ridge Bivouac is located at the junction of the Back Ridge and Rocks Ahead tracks in the centre of the Kaweka Forest Park. There is a helipad 100 metres away from the 2-person bivvy.
