Rotoiti/Nelson Lakes Visitor Centre

Getting there

Rotoiti/Nelson Lakes Visitor Centre is located in St Arnaud, SH63. Turn into Kerr Bay Road and then first right on to View Road. The Visitor Centre is on the corner (200 m from Lake Rotoiti, 500 m from Kerr Bay campground).

Dogs and other domestic animals are not permitted at Lake Rotoiti or Lake Rotoroa as these are within the Nelson Lakes National Park boundaries. Dogs are permitted at Teetotal Recreation Reserve and campground.

No ATM facilities in St Arnaud. No vehicle charging stations.

Opening hours (seven days / week)

• Summer: 8 am – 4.30 pm
• Winter: 9 am – 4.00 pm (closed for lunch)
• Closed Christmas Day (25 December).
