The Minister of Conservation gives notice of her intention to grant a 15-year lease concession under section 59 A of the Reserves Act and 17Q of the Conservation Act 1987:

Summary of proposal
The Minister of Conservation intends to grant a 15-year lease concession to the Auckland Mataatua Society Incorporated for exclusive use (lease) of land to own, occupy and maintain an existing marae and community facilities in Auckland Mataatua Society Marae Recreation Reserve.

Any person or organisation may make a submission in writing to the Director-General on the proposal. The submission must be made on a submission form – download a copy or get one from your local DOC office.

Hearings
Any person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of his/her objection, or submission, must request (in that objection/submission) an opportunity to appear before the Director-General.
