General information
This block is part of the Pigeon Bush Scenic Reserve, situated southwest of Hampden.
A significant amount of kānuka covers the area, while some broadleaf and podocarp is present in the gullies with a small area of tussock on the tops.
Access
Access is via Bagdad Road from Hampden. The road is suitable for all vehicles to the second gate; from here 4WD is recommended to reach the car park area just before the locked forestry gate.

Dogs are allowed in this block with a hunting permit.
If accessing the block over private land, you must have landholder permission to take your dog.
