The best place in the area to see seals is at the Ohau Point seal colony across the road from the entrance to the Ohau Stream Walk.
Access this area from SH1, 27 km north of Kaikoura.

Okiwi Bay Campsite is closed for overnight stays. The area may be used for picnics and car parking.
