Lake Ōkāreka is situated 9 km south-east of Rotorua. From Te Ngae Rd, turn right at the roundabout into Tarawera Rd. Once at Tikitapu/Blue Lake, take a left into Ōkāreka Loop Rd until you reach the lake.
