Introduction

Learn about hunting opportunities in the Te Miro and Te Tapui scenic reserves.

The reserves have low densities of fallow deer.

Te Miro and Te Tapui (A & B) hunting blocks are open for balloted hunting from the 1 March until 30 April. Then from May to the end of October hunting is available under a special permit and conditions.
