General information

This is a bush covered, 490 ha reserve, 10 km northwest of Owaka.

The Glenomaru block is restricted. You need to get a permit specifically for this block, from the DOC Owaka Base.

Access

Turn off the Balclutha-Owaka Highway onto Glenomaru Road, 20 km south of Balclutha, or 10 km north of Owaka. About 5 km along this road there is direct access to the block.

If you wish to cross private land to access certain parts of the block, you must have landholder permission.

Dogs
