Central North Island

A 168 hectare hunting area along the western shore of Lake Taupō.

Moderate numbers of red deer are in this area. Pigs are found throughout the range.

Kaimanawa Forest Park offers great hunting for sika and red deer and limited pig hunting opportunities.

Rangataua Conservation Area offers great hunting primarily for Red Deer with localised Sika populations. There is also limited pig hunting.
