Lake Stream Route
Located in Paparoa National Park and Victoria Forest Park in the West Coast region

Introduction
Tramp for half a day to arrive at a quaint 2 bunk hut.7.2 km to hut
Dog access
This route starts from a carpark 3 km upstream from Tobins Bridge on SH7. The route follows Lake Stream, crossing it several times.
Follow this rough track to a clearing with two small tarns, where there is plenty of camping space and the two-bunk Lake Stream Hut.
An unmarked track from this point takes 45 min to the bushline and another 45 min to a saddle with views into Maruia valley
Drive from Reefton or Springs Junction on SH7 to the Rahu Saddle. The routes is well signposted from the highway with good pull offs and carparking.
