DOC accommodation price changes 2024/2025

Introduction

DOC has updated some accommodation pricing for the 2024/25 booking year (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025).

Great Walks prices

Great Walk hut and campsite prices will increase by 18% except for Paparoa Track which will increase by 6% and Lake Waikaremoana Track which will not change. 

Youth and child fees (5-17 years) will be reintroduced, which will be 50% of the adult fees. This is in line with youth and child fees at other DOC huts and campsites.  

Non-Great Walk huts, campsites and cottages prices

The prices of 21 high-demand huts, campsites, and cottages have changed as part of our regular pricing review.

Youth and child fees are 50% of the adult fees.
