Located in the Hawke’s Bay region

Camp on the shores of Lake Tūtira or explore the area on several tracks. Discover a wildlife refuge, native forest and waterfalls.

This area is alongside SH2, north of Napier.

Lake Tūtira was made a bird sanctuary in 1929 and today is protected as a wildlife refuge.
