5 km of gravel road.
Take SH 5 (Napier-Taupo Rd) and turn into Waitara Rd, 1.8 km south of the Mohaka River bridge. Follow Waitara Rd for 13 km then turn into Aurora Rd and travel 2 km to Everetts Ford.
Park your car at Everetts ford as there is no vehicle access past this point. From here, Everetts campsite is 1.5 km walk or bike ride along the forestry road. For the more adventurous you could raft/kayak to the campsite.
