Rocky's Walk to Tinker's Gully

Located in Coromandel Forest Park in the Coromandel region

Rocky’s walk takes you through an old mining area just north of Thames.

From the carpark, the walk climbs steeply before flattening out along a ridge. This ridge gives great views of the Firth of Thames.

It is a steep descent into Tinker's Gully where you will see old mines before taking a short walk back along the road to the carpark.

This loop is rough and quite muddy in places.

The track is accessed from Victoria Street, behind Tararu, just north of Thames. There is a small carpark at the start of the track.
