  • Lake Howden Hut, Routeburn Track - destroyed by landslide
  • Lewis Hut, Heaphy Track - replaced with Lewis Shelter
  • Mid Ohaku Hut, East Coast area
  • Muchison Hut,  Aoraki/Mount Cook area
  • Goose Flat Hut, Ka Whata Tu o Rakihouia Clarence - destroyed by wildfire
  • Lower Matakuhia Hut, Waipunga Forest - removed due to flood damage
