Introduction

Monitoring shows that at-risk native species are protected by predator control programmes.

DOC scientists monitor our native birds, bats and other species to measure the effects and benefits of predator control. Our researchers have tracked and studied the species below to see how they survived and bred after predator control. They also compare results with areas without predator control.
