There are farm gates along the Craigieburn Road β ensure you leave them as you find them.
The Craigieburn Road crosses the railway line and runs alongside it at several places. Take care as this railway line is used often by trains. Vehicles are no longer allowed beyond the locked gate at the end of Craigieburn Road.
Any vehicle on the track after the gate is trespassing.
Broken River requires crossing on foot. It can be up to 500 mm in places but will be uncrossable if river levels are high.
Stay safe when crossing rivers
If you plan to cross unbridged rivers, know how to cross safely and be prepared for if you cannot cross.
Do not cross if the river is flooded, you cannot find safe entry and exit points or are unsure itβs safe. Turn back or wait for the river to drop. If in doubt, stay out.
