Lake Rotoroa Campsite

Located in Nelson Lakes National Park and St Arnaud area in the Nelson/Tasman region

An easily accessible camp in a picturesque setting - enjoy water activities or a stroll in the native bush.

Camp near the lake edge, surrounded by native bush. Explore tall forests and the lakeshore, or tramp in the D’Urville and Sabine Valleys.

There is a boat ramp and jetty for outdoor activities.

Fees

  • Adult (18+ years): $15 per night
  • Child (5–17 years): $7.50 per night
  • Infant (0 - 4 years): free

The DOC Campsite Pass can be used at this campsite. 

Payment required by cash in iron ranger or to the camp hosts Lake Rotoroa Water Taxi from 1October – 30 April.

Off SH6, east of Murchison. Follow Gowan Valley Road to end.
