  1. DOC has analysed and considered the submissions using the criteria and requirements under the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992, specifically regulations 6 and 7.  
  2. DOC will fully assess the application under the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992 and in light of our section 4 treaty obligations.
  3. A recommendation will be made to a decision maker about whether or not to grant a permit under the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992.
  4. The decision maker will decide whether or not to grant the permit.

Jet Junkies Limited have withdrawn their application for a marine mammal permit. No formal decision has been made.
