Ongoing construction works will be taking place at Hans Bay campsite from Tuesday 9th April 2013
Work will begin on Tuesday 9 April to reseal the Hans Bay Campsite road. This may require the complete closure of the campsite for one day - date to be confirmed. We will endeavour to keep the campsite open if possible.

This is a large grassy lake front campsite beside the beautiful Lake Kaniere. Fish from the jetty, boat or swim in the lake.
Please note that dogs are not permitted in the campground or Lake Kaniere Scenic Reserve.

Lake Kaniere Rd, 19 km south east of Hokitika
Getting there
From Kaniere, follow Lake Kaniere Rd to end. Take Dorothy Falls Rd at fork, follow to Hans Bay.
