This is a large grassy lake front campsite beside the beautiful Lake Kaniere.

Fish from the jetty, boat or swim in the lake.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in the campground or Lake Kaniere Scenic Reserve.

Lake Kaniere Rd, 19 km south east of Hokitika

Getting there

From Kaniere, follow Lake Kaniere Rd to end. Take Dorothy Falls Rd at fork, follow to Hans Bay.
