Haere mai and welcome to the Wellington Hawke's Bay Conservation Board.
The board was created in July 2009 following the disbanding of the East Coast/Hawke's Bay Conservation Board, an outcome of the East Coast/Hawke's Bay Conservancy Review. As part of the same review, Wellington Conservancy merged with Hawke's Bay to become Wellington Hawke's Bay Conservancy.
The Wellington Conservation Board was renamed as the Wellington Hawke's Bay Conservation Board and the area of jurisdiction aligned to that of the Wellington Hawke's Bay Conservancy.
