New Zealand's strategy for implementing the convention is described in the New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy.
The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is an international treaty to sustain the rich diversity of life on earth.
The New Zealand Biodiversity Strategy (NZBS) was launched in 2000 to address New Zealand’s obligations under the Convention on Biological Diversity.
